Kyiv embraces in wake of three hits of coming flu
The Kyiv city Department of Healthcare must report to the city authorities and the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine on October 15 about its preparedness to a routine flu epidemic. The epidemic is expected to hit the city in December and will persist until February 2009. Among other things, this means October is the month that Kyiv residents should go to local clinics to get their flu shots
